But what happens when your cat accidentally drops a lamp and destroys it? Spoiler alert; it's not three wishes. It's a pissed off Djinn that becomes your unwanted houseguest.

He claims I destroyed his home, so now he's moving in until I make him a new one, that he finds suitable. Since I manage to fail crafts in kindergarten, that is going to be a challenge.
A challenge that pushes us together, time and time again.
But what happens when the tension rises to a boiling point?

He pushes me to beg, to submit. And I cave, because when he moves, his shadows move, and they have a mind of their own.

This Aladin retelling focusses on Jasmine who accidentally destroys the lamp of the genie, and fights the tension between them while trying to create him a new home.
In this retelling, the enemies do become lovers. And Jasmine figures out that Shadow Daddy’s are way better than princes…
